Panam Sports Channel will broadcast live the Rowing Pre Pan American Championship on the road to Santiago 2023

The event will gather 240 athletes from 20 countries and it will be livestream.

This news is for all the Rowing fans from the Americas, since their attention will be focused between Saturday, April 15th and Sunday, April 19th in the San Pedro de la Paz district, the place where the Pre Pan American Games of the discipline will be carried out. This will be the only qualifier event for the Santiago 2023 Games. 

The competition will be held in Laguna Grande, the same venue that will host the Pan American Games next October.

This competition held in the Biobío Region (south-central of Chile), will be broadcasted through the Panam Sports Channel (http://onelink.to/panamsports) in a co-production with the Santiago 2023 Corporation Broadcasting team. The channel is preparing itself to broadcast the Games during October and November.

San Pedro will receive 223 male and female rowers from 20 countries, who will seek to obtain the available quotas in six different tests: scull (M1x), double sculls (M2x), quadruple sculls (M4x), coxless pair (M2-), coxless four (M4-) and lightweight double sculls (LM2x) in male and female categories. All those tests will be present at Santiago 2023, in addition to plus cox mixed 8+ that will be formed by rowers that have qualified in other competitions.
