The countdown for the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games keeps moving forward. With less than eight months for the most important multisport event organized by our country, the Santiago 2023 Corporation arrived to the districts that will be venues to promote the Games.
During last weekend it was the turn of Algarrobo, where sailing will be developed during the Games. This competition, which is expected to be a festival for those sailing lovers, will be carried out between October 28th and November 5th.
Between Saturday and Sunday, February 25th and 26th respectively, Santiago 2023 took over the Playa Internacional, delivering an enjoyable space for neighbors and tourists who enjoyed the last holiday weekend.

On this occasion, the attendants had the opportunity to enjoy areas dedicated to practice sports such as Beach Volleyball and paddleball; also, there were face painting and inflatable games for children.
Furthermore, the activity was joined by Juan Pablo Quezada, also known as DJ Seltzer, who added music and delivered a festival atmosphere. The artist indicated that “it was a huge commitment being here to join people, family and children and to get them to commit to sports and music. The idea was that they danced, did physical activity, and the best of all in front of the sea.” Also, Fiu, the official mascot of the Games, was part of this activity too.
Along with the above, Santiago 2023 was there with a stand of our Volunteering Program, a space dedicated to delivering information about the Games, and also focused on signing up all those people who were interested in being part of this multisport mega event as volunteers.
