Sold-out finals: Santiago 2023 sold its first 100,000 tickets in six hours

Responding to the poster for the most important multisport event in the history of our country, the organizing committee reported this first milestone in the ticketing process. Male finals in basketball, tennis, and beach volleyball, as well as several artistic gymnastics and skateboarding sessions, are already sold out.

It took just six hours for the Santiago 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games to sell its first 100,000 tickets.

Tickets went on sale to the general public during Wednesday, July 12th, at midday, a symbolic day with exactly 100 days to go until the start of the multisport event.

The success of the sale has been such that tickets for the male basketball final are sold out, both on sale and free of charge. As for the final days in male tennis and beach volleyball, only the free ones are available.

Artistic gymnastics has sold out its sessions, leaving only the one on Monday, October 23rd. Skateboarding, meanwhile, has sold out its four sessions, remaining only free of charge.

Compared to the previous Games held in Lima 2019, 25,000 tickets were sold in the first 24 hours, while the 2015 Copa America, the closest sporting precedent in Chile, sold 75,000 tickets on the first day.
