The First Final of the Parapan American Boccia in Pairs has Been Defined

The first match for the continental gold will feature Colombia and Canada, countries that emerged victorious in the BC4 pairs semifinals.

Saturday, November 25th, 2023.- Colombia and Canada will star in the first match for the gold medal in Parapan American Boccia when they face each other in the BC4 pairs competition, which brings together players with non-cerebral disabilities that also affect their coordination.

In the early hours, the Colombian duo composed of Leidy and Edilson Chica Chica defeated the Brazilian pair of André Martins and Josaine Batista da Silva with a total score of 7-3.

In the second match of the morning session, the Canadian team, consisting of Alison Levine and Lulian Ciobanu, narrowly won 4-3 against the Mexicans Karla Manuel and Edgar Mora.

With this, Colombia and Canada will compete in the first final for the gold in Boccia at Santiago 2023 starting at 2:00 PM at the Centro de Deportes Comunitario Lo Espejo, in a district in the southern sector of the Chilean capital.

At the same time, Brazil and Mexico will face each other for the bronze medal. Throughout the rest of Saturday's session, the teams that will compete in the final of the BC1 and BC2 team events will also be determined.
