The Parapan American Games are noted for their competitors and their achievements. We already met some of them at Lima 2019 and Tokyo 2020, and we hope they will be present at Santiago 2023.

Among them, the Argentine men's wheelchair tennis duo: Gustavo Fernández and Agustín Ledesma; the Mexican Pedro Gandarilla in the 1500 meters of athletics; and the Colombian Para swimmer Laura González, in the 200 meters combined.

For Chile, the representatives are not far behind, highlighting Alberto Abarza, who won gold medals at Lima in three competitions, and also three at the Tokyo Olympics. While Francisca Mardones stands out in the shot put, reaching the highest medal in Tokyo after breaking the record in her category.
