There is only one year left for Santiago 2023 and we want to celebrate with the people. For that reason, an outdoor light show will be displayed on La Moneda Palace on October 20, 21 and 22, from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
This show encompasses the primary objectives of Santiago 2023, including showing the main characteristics of the country to the continent, such as high performance, community and sustainability.
In that sense, the message of this mapping show is to convey the magnitude of the event that our country will carry out, with a projection loaded with symbolisms. For example, in representation of large-scale mining, one of the foundations of the Chilean economy, colors related to this industry will be projected, with sounds of blows and the acoustic setting of a mine where La Moneda will finally be "dyed" with a raw-copper texture.
To reflect the high performance, historical sports moments will be displayed on the windows, some pictograms will appear shortly after. Their designs are based on the most important values of each discipline, so that people who are not familiar with the Games understand the magnitude of this event.
In this context, the new slogan for Santiago 2023 will also be presented: "Our meeting point", which reflects the sense of community and spirit that unites the continent through sport.
In addition, on Saturday, October 22, an outdoor activity will be held in Parque Bicentenario de Cerrillos with activities such as live music, shows for children, exhibitions and stands for those who want to be volunteers in the next Games.
You are all invited to witness this first-rate light show. Remember: October 20, 21 and 22 from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m!
