The National Stadium venue has been transformed into a collection center, where hundreds of solidarity boxes are received every day to help the inhabitants of five districts of the capital. As the Santiago 2023 Corporation, we joined the "Food for Chile" program, working as a team and helping to move and deliver these boxes to the points assigned to MINDEP.

 The Executive Director of the Pan American and Para Pan American Games Santiago 2023,  Felipe De Pablo  , who worked with part of his team in this solidarity action, commented that “today we come to do our part .   We are responsible for a dream, to deliver the Games to our athletes.   Here we have to put our hearts.   We have nothing left but to fully commit ourselves to it ”.

 The 100% electric van of the   BYD   brand has transported part of these boxes to the Districts of Macul, Puente Alto and Peñalolén. We have traveled around 1,000 km and lowered our CO2 emissions by more than 50%. This is in tune with the guidelines of the Pan American and Para Pan American Games Santiago 2023, where we have proposed to contribute to the community in a concrete way through the management and care of the environment, among other definitions.
